A Syos Saxophone Summit
This Tuesday, October 15, The Jazz Gallery and Syos Mouthpieces will host a saxophone summit featuring six of Syos's acclaimed New York-based artists—Jure Pukl, Tivon Pennicott, Chelsea Baratz, Zem Audu, Tomoaki Baba, and Eden Bareket. Syos's brightly-colored, custom-designed, 3D-printed mouthpieces have become increasingly conspicuous in recent years, becoming the mouthpiece of choice of several Gallery regulars, including Dayna Stephens, Godwin Louis, and Caleb Curtis. For this special performance at the Gallery, the six saxophonists will be joined by a rhythm section featuring pianist Taber Gable, bassist Harish Raghavan, and drummer Kush Abadey.
