Remembering Roy: A Tribute Exhibition to Roy Hargrove

This Tuesday, September 10, The Jazz Gallery will celebrate the life and legacy of trumpeter & co-founder Roy Hargrove with the opening of a new art exhibition. Remembering Roy features photographs of Hargrove from throughout his life and career by Jean-Jacque Abadie, William Brown, Jonathan Chimene, Jimmy Katz, Mike Shur, Nina D’Alessandro, Hank O’Neal, and Luciano Rossetti.The exhibition opening is free and runs from 6 to 9 P.M. on Tuesday. At 7 P.M., vocalist Renee Neufville and pianist Sullivan Fortner—two longtime Hargrove collaborators—will offer a musical tribute.
