The Jazz Gallery Presents: David Virelles

Pianist David Virelles has an uncanny ability to find secret routes between different space-times. Since his 2012 debut Continuum, Virelles has merged ancient musical traditions of Cuba with contemporary approaches to sound production and improvisation.

This weekend at The Jazz Gallery, Virelles presents a new solo electronic project. Armed with an array of synthesizers, samplers, and drum machines, Virelles seeks to open an entrancing portal to both past and future. This new journey from an inveterate explorer is not to be missed.
