Hailing from Brooklyn, Declan Sheehy-Moss has a bit of a mad science approach to music-making. He’s equally comfortable in the acoustic and electronic realms, the digital and analog, and the concise and exploratory.

This week, Sheehy-Moss returns to The Jazz Gallery with a new project, Bounce. On the surface, it’s a standard quintet lineup, but the sounds of all the instruments are sent through a veritable distilling still, yielding a surprise concoction.
